8 May 2018 11:00am - 1:00pm Room B3, Institute of Criminology

Description

Course leader: Dr Gabe Recchia

If you're involved in any kind of research, chances are you have some kind of collection of materials that would benefit from being put online. In this workshop, you'll learn how to put research materials online in a tagged & searchable fashion with Omeka. The second half of the workshop will be a hands-on component with exercises you can work through to create an example archive of your own. If you already have materials you want to put online, bring them along; if not, we'll provide some example materials. Attendees are strongly encouraged to bring laptops for this portion of the workshop.

Pre-registration is essential: please book here or use the online registration link on this page.

PhD students and staff from the University of Cambridge have priority for bookings on this course – if the course appears fully booked and you fall into this category please contact the course organisers directly.
