We're delighted to announce the next SMKE event in Cambridge which is organised with the support of the Cambridge AHRC Doctoral Training Partnership.

Our end of year event is aimed at PhD students and early-career researchers in the Arts and Humanities who are looking for practical guidance on how to navigate a lanscape of scholarship which has been profoundly altered by digital technologies and social media. We’ll be covering a diverse range of topics, tackling issues throughout the lifecycle of research – from the first stirrings of an idea to finding collaborators and publicising your finished work. Sessions will cover the following themes:

Understanding copyright in an era of open access

Networked scholarly communication: tools and tactics
