What is the ‘Impact Agenda’? Should you know about it? Does it matter? Will it matter?

The idea of impact has arrived – for good or ill – and not only as part of research assessment exercises: grant proposals, job applications and cover letters are increasingly read in terms of the potential for research to make a difference: supporting policy makers, enabling the exchange of knowledge, engaging the minds of people beyond the academy.

Join staff from the University’s Centre for Business Research and the Research Strategy Office to discuss the policy and language of impact, how it might affect you, and funds available to help you develop opportunities.
