4 Jun 2015 12:45pm - 2:00pm CRASSH meeting room

Description

Increasingly, research funders require data management plans from grant applicants and stipulate open access to data collected by research projects. What does this mean in practice to researchers currently working on projects and preparing grant submissions?

This informal workshop and working lunch will explore the issues involved in data management and open data, in any research area across the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. The event will be hosted by Professor Tim Lewens and Dr Marta Teperek (Research Data Facilitator, Research Operations Office/University Library) will give a presentation on Open Data.

The workshop, for academics, researchers and PIs working across University of Cambridge Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities, will take place on Thursday 4 June 12.45 -2pm, in the CRASSH meeting room. Lunch will be provided, so please register for this event.

Please contact Gaenor Moore with any enquiries.
