30 May 2008 All day CRASSH, 17 Mill Lane

Description

On-line registration is now closed. You may still register on the day.

Convener:  Lee Wilson (CRASSH)

The body has proved to be a powerful concept for articulating questions that span gender, technology, interrogations of subjectivity and 'the human' itself.  This workshop was designed to reflect on the range of meanings and theoretical understandings that surround the mobile concept of the body.  It was practically designed for Arts and Humanities students working across disciplines, but was also of interest to those in the social sciences.

This workshop was the third in the series of the AHRC funded IRTN workshops.  IRTN travel bursaries were available for students attending the event.
