Wim Pijbes: Old Masters Fit for the Future

We are pleased to welcome Wim Pijbes, Director of the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam, to CRASSH as the 2015-16 Humanitas Visiting Professor in the History of Art.

Whilst at Cambridge, Pijbes will present a series of lectures and conversations exploring how old masters museums can be made relevant today, art and nationality, plus talking about his time overseeing the refurbishment of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
