6 Nov 2003 All day CRASSH

Description

CRASSH, Old Press Site, Silver Street/Mill Lane, Cambridge

The Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities will be holding an Open Day on Thursday, 6 November 2003. This event is free and all members of the University are warmly invited to attend. Refreshments will be provided.
Conveners:

Professor Ludmilla Jordanova, Director, CRASSH (ljj26@cam.ac.uk)
Professor John Morrill, Deputy Director, CRASSH (jsm1000@cam.ac.uk)

CRASSH aims:

    * To stimulate and enhance research within the University's School of Arts and Humanities, and the School of Humanities and Social Sciences;
    * To serve as a catalyst for intellectual and cultural debate more generally within the University;
    * To work in close collaboration with similar centres and institutions elsewhere in the United Kingdom and abroad, leading to collaboration and exchange.

It is hoped that the Centre will thus act as a focus of local, national, and international enquiry in the arts, social sciences and humanities.
